So in my guild for wrath classic I'm going to be a blood dk tank/frost dps offspec when im not needed, at first I thought I was going to use JC and Engineering as my main professions for my tanking but I recently realized that the paladin tank and the warrior dps are doing the same, and this leaves us with no dedicated guild Blacksmith.Now I am actually wondering if any of the purple titansteel gear is useful later on? or are we alright just leaving it alone? If it is something we could use I would definitely grab it.

What’s the best class to clear old dungeons and open world? Would like to start leveling now in TBC to get ready for WotLK.Any advice?

I feel like a lot of my time now is either spent doing menial "chores" in game, waiting for people to log on, waiting for people to join my groups for stuff, or waiting for other peoples' groups to accept me into their groups for stuff. It all just boils down to "chores" or waiting, shit maybe it's always been like this and im just now really feeling it. Even things that aren't end game content are gated by waiting around, like hunting transmog or mounts from raids. You get one shot per week to hopefully get some transmog you can use off a gigantic loot table roll or maybe get a mount from some boss with a sub 1% chance. At that point what is the use of a lockout? Anyways...I think M+ was a great system to add, but it doesn't compare to what it was modeled off of which is the D3 Greater Rift system or ARPGs/Roguelikes in general, and honestly it hasn't even been iterated on that much since its introduction. I see most people when arguing about RDF saying that the inclusion of RDF butchers the social aspect of the game but this is simply not true.There will be only a minimal difference in social encounters between RDF and LFG.The only difference will be people wont whisper you "inv tank/dps/heal".The only thing RDF changes socially is the group forming part nothing else.Generally there will be alot less social interaction present in wotlk dungeons since they are really easy even heroics and they are really streamlined.So what are the problems of RDF then, well there are several and I will list them, but since the subreddit is heavily biased for RDF these real problems wont get mentioned.The biggest problem of RDF is the causation of emptier zones there will be a lot less people lvling on the overworld when you can just press a button and get tp´ed to an dungeon, this is further caused by the tabards you can get at friendly rep which skyrocket rep gains.So Quests will give you re

(Look at number of individual parses for a region versus how many players show up on a site like IronforgePro)The same system that at the end of each season less than 1000 players across the entire region for all brackets receive any meaningful reward.Not to mention a decent chunk of those that do get into the top 0.5% are the same players on multiple alts playing with the same people they have other teams with on their alts.Why are we keeping this garbage system that makes it so your chances of getting rewards is directly correlated to the number of people doing arena, the fewer people that do arena, the fewer people can get rewards.

So I'm not sure the best way to install it. Many guides / methods Online so I thought I ask what worked best for Steam Deck Owners.Also I would assume people using Console Port. Hey I'm EU looking for a group or people to level new chars with ready for WOTLK. Horde or alliance not too fussed just looking for fun!

I've been seeing some posts from here on my recommended posts and I've been seeing this stuff about boosting being removed from the game. I don't know much about what this means or was it intentional or can I expect it to stay this way etc. WoW got me so hooked into mmorpgs when I was very young despite me never getting far into it (NEVER endgame or even close to raids kind of content) and a huge part of that was me joining so late into the game, and getting to points where I want to run low level dungeons for my low level questing journeys and being demoralized because I'd log in multiple days in a row just trying to group, have no luck, and log out.Seeing this news has me sitting here ready to sub, so excited because I've been chasing the WoW high ever since I was a little kid (which oddly I could never quite get from WoW due to above reasons). My guild's leadership is struggling to track all the class/spec swaps accross our guild, going into wotlk. We've tried using a raid sign-up in discord and a strawpoll, but we're looking for something a bit easier to manage/track. I'm following Zygor and I like to utilize their talent advisor menu but I'm a bit confused on the talents I should be choosing as a frost mage solo leveling. Many players will be creating Dracthyr whether they're new, returning, or current players. It's the newest race to the game and the expansion flagship race. With so many new Dracthyr, if Blizzard made Soar a regular mount-type spell, not many people would interact with the actual dragons they want us to ride. Much fewer people would spend time in customization for the dragons or might not even take the time to level up dragon riding at all if they're just happy enough with the baseline Soar functionality.Of course, Dracthyr is just one race and literally every single other race would have to interact with the dragon riding system.So here's what I'm thinking. I think they will make it an ability like Running Wild where it's essentially the flying version of it, with a regular mount cast time and all. However, I think this will happen at the end of the expansion. By then, everyone will have gone as far into the dragon riding system as they're realistically go

I have heard before that even though large Horde and Alliance servers have similar populations, there are multiple times more active raiding guilds on the Horde servers as compared to Alliance servers. Has anyone made the swap and have first hand experience? I am finally considering it since I now have the ability to play with my long time alliance friends if I do decide to swap for a better raiding experience. The level I am talking about is specifically Heroic in a few weeks Mythic in multiple months (and probably never the last boss) level; competent raiding but not crazy hardcore I pretty strongly prefer the Alliance but if it means less guilds would fall apart and there'd be more options to join one that works for me then I would be enticed. I have the 310 flying unlocked, but my druid's flight form is still the 150%. How do i unlock the faster flight speed? I have been recently wanting to play wow again so I figured classic would probably be fun, but recently I've been talking with a couple friends and one of them talks about how boosting is very prevalent and classic content(pre tbc) is pretty well dead.I enjoy leveling and the game in general but is finding anyone for dungeons here and there for lower stuff going to be nearly impossible?I dont see the fun in paying someone gold to run through a dungeon time and time again to level, and I'm not willing to spend $80+ canadian for a boost and time to play. Would waiting for wrath be better or will I still find fun in the game being semi-alone?

I played BFA for a few months, then picked it up again toward the end and played the current one for about a month.
