Classic The Shaman Talent tree is the most successful tree so far, effectively the current 'gold standard' other spec trees are trying (and failing) to achieve. Why is this?

"Everyone hates their tree... except Shamans".----It seems pretty clear that the community, which is loathe to agree on many things... or be positive about things in general.... likes the Shaman talent trees. Loves them even. Are they perfect? No, but people are satisfied/happy with the Shaman package they see - and excited in the direction Shaman things are going.Other classes so far? Not so much, ranging from 'sky is falling' disasters.... to trees that leave you feeling disheartened/angry/frustrated as you decide 'which leg you want to lose'..... to 'trees that might be functional, but are forgettable or boring with no meaningful or exciting choices'.So basically..... other class trees are being compared to Shaman trees as if they're the current gold standard.----So, in your words... why do you feel this is?If you were a Blizzard dev designing the class trees - what lessons would you take from the Shaman tree - that you would want to apply to other classes - to get similar levels of community acceptance, satisfaction and response? via /r/wow https://ift.tt/Sz9h7Vj
