Hello fine people !I'm an ex-WoW player who started when BC came out, stopped playing at the end of WoTLK before resuming at the end of Legion and stopping after 3 months of Shadowlands.Basically, I wanted to know where the Dragonflight expansion stands in terms of time-wasting mechanisms such as :Requiring people to complete everything and wait for months before accessing flight mounts.Previous item combined with lacking taxi nodes / steep cliffs and rugged terrains (Shadowlands was really awful in that regard).Having to farm a resource doing the same quests over and over again every day (looking at you Legion weapons / azerite / anima).I like doing (non-repetitive) world content/quests, dungeons, LFR raids and a bit of PVP. Do you think Dragonflight will be a good surprise ? When I went to zone back into my Garrison, I fell into the ground and disconnected. Tried logging out and logging in and was still in the ground and disconnected after a few seconds.Used the Stuck Character thing with Support. Logged into the character, rewrote the macro because I lost them. On one of my alts I slacked off with their tailoring/enchanting focusing on my main. I've started playing my alt now again and was like hey I'll finish tailoring/enchanting.. Yeah impossible it seems.No rep to get patterns as I wasn't playing. No patterns/skill ups to progress. Severally behind on knowledge. At this point it just feels like throw in the towel till expansion.I don't know how a new player would even start. Why is it that the Dreaming Gatherers path of Superbloom have an almost infinite amount of trash mobs to farm for blooms while the Pest Patrol's mid point pause have almost no mobs (I finally saw some this past week). I’m primarily coming at this from a seasoned horde warrior perspective, so bear with me…Having seen the first draft at Mountain Thane (ick), I’m overall really excited about new ways to express class fantasy, but I have a few major concerns. Mountain Thane as a name is applicable to like…dwarves and only dwarves. I am so sympathetic to those that love WC3 and want to be Muradin, but like…what’s my Tauren who comes from the Plains of Mulgore got to do with mountain king fantasy? Additionally, while I do like the thunder warrior themes, it feels like we straight up are replacing Enhancement Shaman with Fury Warrior now. I would be concerned about overdoing a niche fantasy in such a way as to infringe on an entire class specialization. Hero talents that force you to take talents in the tree are going to make the whole customizability of the revamped trees feel a LOT worse. I’m a resto shaman/druid main and lately I’ve been messing around leveling all of the other healers just for fun and to see how they play. It’s been a great experience but every time I get a toon to 60 and start doing random dragonflight dungeons, I inevitably end up with tanks in 486 gear who’ve decided to tank in their dps spec and just blow through the dungeon like it’s nothing.It’s hard for me as a healer, as I play this role because I enjoy healing and it’s frustrating when I don’t have any opportunity to do that. It’s hard watching the dps struggle to keep up and the casters not be able to even press a single one of their buttons as we all stand around and watch the tank solo the place. Does anyone know why these tanks are even doing these leveling dungeons to begin with? Hello,I have an issue when I take logs.The logs are recorced until or if there is a wipe.I log like this :-got an account on wowlogs-installed Warcraft log uploader-when I enter a raid, I type /combatlog-the file goes into my log folder no problemAt the end of the raid I upload, and it records everything until there is a wipe. Like if when I go into the instance again as a ghost, the logs stop to be recorded. First time I noticed that, if I wipe I re type /combatlog when I enter. But then it doesnt work. Lost many envounter duo to early kelris wipe ans I wonder where the problem comes from.A friend is taking logs like I do and he has no problem. This reset I just killed Fyrakk on normal difficulty and got a greater ember of fyralath. After I used it the item only dealt roughly 5k damage to me instead of the normal 100k. Not sure if this means anything regarding a higher chance at receiving the legendary or not.Just thought it was odd. I am an absolute nooblet so please bear with me.With Brewmaster, I understand that Purifying Brew cleanses the damage I've staved off with my passive.My question is: is there a visual cue for that incoming damage? I would like to get in the habit of optimizing when I pop that brew, but I have no idea how much incoming damage is happening, or when it's happening. I'm not here to put my opinion on if it is or isn't racist. More just curious how a game based on a war between two sides can be portrayed as NOT racist? Unless you change all races to the one race and have them be enemies, it's always going to be inherently racist, right? I guess my question is: what makes the game racist outside of there between a war between races? I ask in naivety, as 1. I've only just started playing classic again after a few years and 2. Im the type of player that skips dialogue and quest text to get to end game quicker, so Ive probably missed the real racism. I'm a lvl 25 warrior in SoD. I have pretty much all the pre raid BiS except one item. The Silverlaine ring from SFK. I want this a whole bunch just to be completely ready for raiding so I farm for it all day. In total I do somewhere around 12 runs. It drops 2 times. I lose a 50/50 2 times. Across all these runs everybody in the group are happy at the end. Healer gets shoulders. Mage gets robe. Rogue gets dagger. They all drop out and I'm left looking for a new group every goddamn time. On some of the last runs my rogue friend joins to get his BiS gear. On his second run his BiS rare BoE drops from trash and he gets it aswell as the dagger from the final boss. At this point I'm hella salty. But my friend gets an idea on how to get the ring for me.He can solo the Silverlaine boss. We group up only the two of us. While he stealths past all enemies all the way to the Silverlaine, I simply wait at the entrance and waits for him to kill the boss. If the ring drops he passes and

So, I'm an casual altoholic, and I have every class except the priest and rogue and actively play havoc dh, destro warlock, deva drakthyr, survi hunter, enha shaman and bala druid.Out of those my druid feels the weakest: very slow damage ramp up time (dot all the mobs, enter solar/lunar eclipse), and pretty squishy; all the other classes are much more up front with the damage and arguably have better survi than my druid. I tried very hard to like him because I enjoy the theme, but the gameplay is just... not there for me.
