As stated in the title, I’ve seen comments on a few posts where some people believe that pre-potting is a sweaty thing to do. When I played retail TBC and WOTLK, that was just another item in your raid toolkit just like a flask or food. I ask of you all now, what is your opinion? Is Prepotting a sweaty try hard activity or it is something every raider should use to boost their dps in raids?Full disclaimer. I am an alchemist and will sell those pots to you.P.S. I use damage pots, tank pots and usually just mana pots on my healer.P.S.S. I know that you don’t have to use prepots to parse higher. I also believe that people using all available options to increase their dps as a raider is just the basics of being a good/helpful member of your raid.Thoughts?

I have my background FPS set to the default of 30. However, I noticed a couple days ago that it was not working, as when I tab out over to my second monitor, I can tell that the FPS does not go down in-game. Additionally, my GPU fans will usually get a bit quieter when I do this, but they remain the same speed. This never really happened prior to DF pre-patch, and I think it worked for a couple days after and only really noticed it occurring on Friday. Before the change there was a thick border around cast bars which indicated that the cast was uninterruptable, now they have a shield icon behind the spell icon but no border around the cast bar itself. The issue is that when I'm checking a spell to see if I can interrupt it or not I'm not looking at the spell icon, I'm looking at the cast bar because I need to track its progression.They do have a colour system to help you out, uninterruptable casts are grey with a flat texture. But interruptable spells are also grey when they first start being cast and the bar hasn't filled up yet, and in the heat of the moment one probably isn't going to pay attention to the texture.Perhaps I just haven't gotten used to it yet, but could we please have the thick border around the cast bar again for uninterruptable spells? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the spell hit cap is 4% for most class/race combos and I am well above that. There is no reason I should be missing spells against such things as Orc DK or Troll Warrior. Anyone else feel this?

Our system is SR->MS->OS. He HR'd a wep from KT because he said he deserved it for the effort he put him making the raid group etc. It caused a little controversy in our guild(Some of the raiders didn't like it). I want your opinions on the matter.

When I logged in today, I did my normal round around Dalaran for the cooking and fishing dailies. Everything was perfectly normal. Then I flew over to start the Kalu'ak dailes.On the way, I disabled Questie to try to track down an fps hiccup I've v been having. when I landed, the NPC had no blue exclamation point. The quest functioned normally. The silver question mark popped up, turned yellow when the quest was complete, and went away when I handed it in.I then went over to Dragon blight for the next one and it was the same thing. I swear these NPC's had the quest marker yesterday and the NPC's in Dalaran had them.Am I crazy? Please help!p.s. I've deleted Interface, WTF, and Cache, and did scan and repair through the launcher. Still the same on a clean login.Update: The NPC in Howling Fjord has the blue mark....weird for sure

I was playing a few hours ago then got off. I just got back on and and I think something downloaded. My framerate now is at like 10fps. Prior, it was at 144 on ultra 1440p with raytracing.. All my bank slots are full from old gear pieces, trinkets, etc. from each tier (both pvp and pre) of vanilla and TBC + holiday and vanity items. 100% of my mats and consumables have to be held by a bank alt because I have no room. I barley have room even in my main bags, my brutal gladiator gear and a few sunwell pieces are stuffed in my main bags because I don't have anymore room in the bank. The masks from hallows end decimated my remaining bag slots.I am at a point where I wont have anywhere to put my new gear when it becomes obsolete. I cannot delete my vanilla-TBC stuff, vanilla-TBC is the gold standard of gaming and anything I earned from this period is sacred. We need a special bank to hold these memories.

During Cata, Enhancement Shamans had this ability where you could press a button and it would set down 4 different totems of each element, and you could bind whatever totems you wanted of each element to the button, and they’d all come out at the same time. There were like, a couple of these buttons so you could have a few different sets, so if you needed an AoE set of totems and a single target set of totems, you could just swap buttons or something. Like, you could have seating totem, a healing totem, earth totem, and air totem out at the same time.Am I losing it? What on earth am I remembering? I have a macro where i need to clear the target on each button press, but mark the target/cleartarget/targetenemy [noexists][dead]/script SetRaidTarget(“target”, 4)/cast spellwhat happens is when the same target is selected after pressing the button over and over, the icon gets removed but the target is actually selected. I was tanking a group through Gundrak H and pugged a rando level 80 that spent the first few packs complaining about one of the members low DPS, (saying they are bad, they should go back to retail, youtube their class), and by the time we downed the first boss(which we did without issue) I lost my shit and removed him from group, which sparked a litany of whisper harassment from the player in question and subsequent trash talking about me in trade chat for cheating him out of a lockout.I ensured the group finder was flagged for friendly to new players before listing, as two of the players I was guiding through the dungeon were fresh 80s and had never tackled heroic content before.Am I the asshole for removing this individual and costing him a lockout?

Been lured back to the glory of Classic levelling, and while i've been having some fun - grouping up has been a bit patchy, if not entirely absent.Levellin takes a while and I want to commit to a realm, but it's so hard to get a judge on a realm until you're past the starting zones.I'm going to chalk it up to no XP buff, most people maxxed and not many people running alts.I've tried Giantstalker and Earthshaker which are seemingly the most populated but even then it's felt a bit empty.

With the backlash over the Body types in wow and paintings of girls being removed and the newly updated TOS, im wondering why the female warlock is still called a warlock and not a witch.
