I'm new to classic wow and the phasing states. I know at launch in wotlk frost was the tanking spec for dk's but was changed to blood in a later patch.With the prepatch not being the actual release will frost dk be the way to go for tanking until release or will it already have the updates applied and be blood? Not a lot of resources available and I don't know what priority applies during the prepatch for the "phases".

This is extremely unsettling as someone who has only played mage in all of classic and have no interest in playing another class. We're not talking about low representation like hunter and shaman in TBC, we're talking about zero representation in the most important bracket in WotLK (there were no mount/title in 2s in 2008 wotlk). 5s is hardly played in wotlk for some reason.For the season 8 ladder, there are 3 different mages in top 50 2s so it gets slightly better but not by much. 3 out of 100 spots is still very low.To make things even worse, the only mage comp in every ladder I checked is mage with a priest in 2s.Top 50 is a small sample but every other class has good representation while mage has none in S5 3s. Basically title. I’m 60 and beat shadowlands i think. I have some quest about my covenant that I still need to do. So what’s next? I think doing dungeons sounds cool but I’m a bit nervous to tank as the community hasn’t been the most welcoming to me so far and I’ve had some bad experiences as tank. Hi everyone,this is a bit of an odd one I guess, I love playing WoW and I'd love to play it with my boyfriend. Sadly he gets easily overwhelmed and the graphic style of WoW is apparently particularly bad for him. It also currently works this same way on Classic beta. These things include losing important stats, swapping professions, and promoting (what many would consider) an incredibly un-fun way of constantly micro-managing your pet afk for 50%+ of the fight just to make certain that your raid is benefiting from the maximum amount of spellpower possible.​One thing to note is that this was changed when cataclysm was released. Personally i don't really care about gold farming because leading gdkps & reserving boes will be much more lucrative, but if that stuff gets banned i'd revert back to this. Especially with multiple layers this stuff can be insanely profitable and i'm not exaggerating when i say these methods could easily be 2k+gold/hr depending on prices/layering etc.​These spot works really good for affliction locks but you can realistically do it with any class, especially if you bring a healer friend along and just blast. it's also my favorite type of farming cause i can just brain-afk and make big profit.​First half of the video is warlock specific so if you just want the spots as a different class then they're all timestamped​enjoy <3

3 strangers met in Org, near the PVP Battlemasters. We partied up, and decided to walk to Stormwind in a line, and raid the place. As you can imagine, a line of people walking through Org gained attention, and soon we had a full raid of players, Discord and all, walking 1-by-1, out of Orgrimmar and to the Zeppelin, up through STV and into Goldshire. The raid itself was somewhat of a stalemate, and the group naturally dispersed over the next half an hour. Afterwards, a group of 4 were heading to the then unused Mount Hyjal, somewhere I had not been before nor knew how to get to, and invited me along. We all headed over there and down into the empty zone. After a good tour around, we gathered together for a photo. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the players names, as the Classic server is now dead. My server is dying for our faction's side, so my guild is considering a server xfer for WotLK prepatch. The Character transfer text is fairly ambiguous, and we aren't sure if the transfer limit of 90 days is per CHARACTER or one character per ACCOUNT. Is anybody able to confirm if you can transfer multiple characters on a single account in a short window? e.g. your "main" then your various alts? <3

For as long as I've been playing, I'm still struggling to pinpoint an exact class that I love the most, but hopefully reading some of your stories will aid me in figuring it out! I created a Pally on a new server recently and I'm enjoying the grind thus far but I'm not entirely sure it's *for* me. I even got my Lock close to max and for some reason I just burnt out.As far as races go, Night Elves are always my choice if I can help it, the lore behind them is fascinating and I can relate to their stature (the males) seeing as they're really tall and their limbs are long. If I'm playing Horde, I always end up with a Troll for the same reasons. And of course the Voodoo, never forget the Voodoo.So, what made you fall in love with your favorite class? Heya all!I was wondering if anyone could help me out with Cache of Acquired Treasures changing on boss pulls. Since today I noticed that CoAT shows me one weapon, but as soon the boss gets pulled it changes to another one, no matter what duration the current cycle has left. This does not happen consistently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it bugs.
