Only one mage in top 50 of 2vs2 ladder for season 5. None(!) in 3vs3.

This is extremely unsettling as someone who has only played mage in all of classic and have no interest in playing another class. We're not talking about low representation like hunter and shaman in TBC, we're talking about zero representation in the most important bracket in WotLK (there were no mount/title in 2s in 2008 wotlk). 5s is hardly played in wotlk for some reason.For the season 8 ladder, there are 3 different mages in top 50 2s so it gets slightly better but not by much. 3 out of 100 spots is still very low.To make things even worse, the only mage comp in every ladder I checked is mage with a priest in 2s.Top 50 is a small sample but every other class has good representation while mage has none in S5 3s. Extremely unsettling.I'd link proof but not allowed to link to pserver stuff.
