I've been checking my launcher every day for beta access much like many of you out there. Much to my surprise, about 20 minutes ago, I had a new game version added to my launcher- Shadowlands Beta. I was hyped for about half a second before I realized it was the wrong beta version. I'm coming back after a several year break from retail to play some classic WoW and I don't fully understand how some aspects work if you could kindly answer a few questionsHow do the Classic expansions work? Can I still play vanilla if wotlk has just released or does it follow along with the expansions like original release? Is there separate server for vanilla classic and wotlk classic? And TBC won't exist outside of the wotlk classic?I heard something about TBC servers closing so don't understand how it works exactlyI'm also curious how PvP works if a realm is completely one sided? Does PvP matching go between realms or is it non existent on such a realm?Also curious about what realms would be best for UK/English speaking Europe?Appreciate it.

Usually hearing the login screen music and all the beta tracks for the new zones is a highlight for me when a new expansion is coming out. Hello, as we go into the wotlk, I would like to ask you guys, what do you think about Druids. Their viability, usefulness, difficulty etc…I am talking mostly about feral dps, boomie, resto… Do you think that feral/resto is good choice for wotlk content? I am mostly interested into Arenas, but raiding id also pretty fun content for me. Do you think that druid is a good main for wotlk ? I started playing about 6 months before the original burning crusade. I’d burned out by the end of WOTLK. But I realized that my interest was mainly in PvP.I came back for BfA and burned out about 3-4 months in. I came back for the re-launch of classic…and couldn’t keep up (I can only manage about 10-15 hours of play per week now).I have the itch again. And I’ve just read about the xp boost…which might be a fun way to ready a bunch of characters for the launch of dragonflight. But is there any reason to think I won’t be burned out by it again? In BfA, I was overwhelmed with ALL OF THE STUFF. So many currencies. World quests. Faction rewards. Profession benefits. Pet battles and shit.In your opinion, would I feel the same if I came back? Please do something blizzard? The realms that are available for migration have less than 100 people on a faction and sometimes less than 100 for the whole server. You know we are mostly all old and work now and (some of us) don't do the scummy thing and remote log on to prevent afk log outs. Hit 68 yesterday in Shadow Labyrinth - never run the dungeon before. It was incredible.Decided to make the key for Shattered Halls - killed the Fel Reaver by dragging it through the elites outside Thrallmar.Started posting for Shattered Halls and received several messages about how it was a waste of time and just “go to Northrend”.Built a group. Had a blast. Checked another box off of my TBC bingo card. Shattered Halls was great. Northrend is still there, I didn’t miss it.People in-game be crazy.

All my Characters are Horde and I'm on a super bogged-down server with long queues. I can take a free transfer but I'd rather just leave my toons there for when it slows down. In the mean time, I'm thinking about maybe just creating a new character on another server, and would be a rogue. While I'm at it, it'd be an ally toon to freshen up the scenery a bit.For someone who put in, say 4-5 hours a night, 7 nights a week AND used a guide like the Rested XP, what do you think is a reasonable /played at 70?

So my old account still existed and I renewed the monthly subscription. The wife made an account so we are currently a duo in the 30's. I have a few other characters in the 40's that I don't remember how to play and she only has the one character. We recently figured out we are playing retail but not the full version. Heya folks.Continuing a fine tradition of making pointless things, here be a dead dragon.AFAIK, there was already one (and probably the only one recorded so far) Classic solo kill made roughly 2 months ago by a Night Elf druid named Gendis. That one also was done in almost twice as less time as mine.My attempt took me just a bit over 100 minutes, most of which were spent in P2. Paladins just aren't cut for any sort of sustained ranged damage :(The video goes on great lengths to make the experience repeatable -- that is, hopefully, you can do the same (or better) after watching it. There will be walls of text explaining what she does, what you can do in return, numbers, yadda yadda. I’m new to Warlock and I’m up to level 36 but unsure of talents. I’ve done some reading and some say drain tank with Succubus. Or put talents into Demo to get Felguard.Not sure if I should reset mine? I’ve put some into Affliction and Demo so far.Affliction: 5 into Improved Corruption, 2 into Drain Soul and 2 into Soul Siphon.Demo: 3 into Imp, 3 into Demonic Embrace, 2 Fel Synergy, 3 into Fel Vitality, 3 into Sayaad, Soul Link, Fel Domination and 1 into Unholy Power.Succubus doesn’t hold hate very well unless I’m playing wrong which I probably am. But damage seems alright. I run out of mana fast if I use dots, Immolate, Drain Life and Shadow Bolt. Life Tap helps some but can’t keep up.Should I reset and max out Shadow Bolt, Bane and Demonic Power? And use Imp for dungeons and Void Walker for soloing? Not sure if I should keep going for Felguard or not.Thanks for any advice, Warlock is fun but I’m terrible so far.

Regularly taking me 15-20 minutes to list 3-5 items on the AH, or multiple tries just to buy a single item. I get that sulf is a high pop realm now, but why does our AH suck so bad? give us retail AH or something improved.

I was permanently suspended and banned on my WoW account for gold farming Stratholme in the WOTLK pre-patch on my rogue. I spent numerous hours doing 84 total dungeon runs until I finally got the mount. These runs were over the span of 5 days, and I was shortly thereafter banned.The email specifically stated my offense was "Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs (Hacks)" (AKA botting in blizzard's terms) They also added "We don't take this decision lightly. Our team issued this closure only after a careful review of relevant evidence. Our support staff will not overturn these closures and may not respond to appeals." I have played the game across many eras, starting from around the middle of the original TBC, and on many classes. I am currently leveling a new prot warrior for Wrath Classic because I remember them being powerful and fun in 5-man dungeons. I also remember the Revenge cooldown reactivating on a dodge or parry, so Revenge could be used repeatedly if repeatedly dodging or parrying.
