Classic How Soloable are Legion Mythic Raids now? Data inside


Preface:LFR, Normal and Heroic difficulties all have 50% or less hp than the mythic encounters, not to mention fewer mechanics. They are all easy to solo, even on undergeared characters. Mythic however scales to 20 players instead of 10, and had the added difficulty modifiers on the content. During Beta, and the first few weeks of SL, the damage done and reduced damage taken modifier from legacy mode was 2x and soloing was markedly harder than at the end of BfA. It was then modified by the end of the first month of SL to be somewhere in the 5-10x range where it currently stands.The question remains: How easy it is to solo now?TL;DR - Legion Mythic Raids are quite easy to solo until KJ and Antorus.Leading with the logs:EN, NH and Tomb Data: https://ift.tt/3sYsv4a Data: https://ift.tt/3mMRCG4 wanted to put data together because I hate the generic and mindless 'fix Legion scaling' posts. I know that in the past, there is a sort of curve to being able to solo 2-expansion old content, all the way back to soloing Vanilla raids during Wrath. We have gotten spoiled with looking at how badly we stomp content from 3-5 expansions ago, or how easy it was during the more infamous power spike expansions or patches. Antorus in particular is a by-product of an expansion that saw player damage go from 250k at level 110 dugneon gear, to 450k by the end of the first raid tier to 2.5 mil dps by Antorus, and the content itself scaled up within that expansion to compensate.Point 1 - The legacy scaling modifier itself should be left alone. The dungeons and Emerald Nightmare Mythic prove that is perfectly fine already.Point 2 - There are several bosses that on a mechanical level need alterations to permit soloing. Extra oil pools on Sassz'ine, the 99% damage reduction auras for not splitting bosses, the Eonar ship, and the Aggramar Taeshalach combo knockback power and 1-shot for not swapping are all fixed more by mechanical alterations than by HP nerfs.Point 3 - Since Legion we had an ilvl squish and a level squish. It would be reasonable to condense the scaling of raids within that expansion to similarly reduce the gap across all the raid tiers. I won't want Antorus bosses to die in 5 seconds like the Emerald Nightmare bosses, but it would be nice if Antorus bosses didn't take 3-12 mintues with a really bursty and high sustain class.
