Classic Newbie questions

Hey just started on wow. Currently at level 50, playing as horde. Are there any prequest/requirements for joining world bosses ? My mate an I joined a party earlier on for empress shek zara but when we arrived we couldn’t see our party members or the boss. via /r/wow https://ift.tt/37Tdng9
