Classic App won’t open

So I just updated WoW on my m1 air and now it’s giving me a “The application ‘world of Warcraft’ can’t be opened”. So far I’ve cleared all caches and also reinstalled battle.net. Now it’s making me download another also 40gb for some reason and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Anyone having the same issues?
