Thinking of trying out classic

As the title states, I'm thinking of trying out classic, but have a few questions.How popular is the non hc playerbase? I got no interest in hc, knowing myself I'll die plenty of times.Which realm should I pick for non hc? I'm playing on the European serversWhat role or specific spec even would you say is most in demand? I'd like to play the game, and not be attempting to join groups most of my playtime.Thanks in advance!
