Classic Help choose between holy paladin and holy priest

Resto druid main here. Played season 1 as resto but want to play another class for season 2. I usually play holy pally as my alt and I heard they are really good this patch. Fun effective cooldowns now and better sustain. I like insta casts and that's why I lean towards pally. Priest on the other hand are also big aoe healers which is why I like druid. They seem to have a lot of buttons and suffer more in M+. I would only be heroic raiding but what do you guys like during season 2 between these 2 classes?
