Classic Learning dragon riding glitch

It wasn’t really a big glitch but I’m curious if anyone ran into it. When speaking to the guy for the first time to show you the dragon riding basics he just teleports to the edge of the cliff where he shows you what to do, and then after you’ve learned all the stuff and you you finish the few quests he has he teleport back to his normal location and walks to the ledge while he explains to you what dragon riding is.
