Classic Key commands: is the goal is memorize a mindless sequence that works, or to just be less reliant on visual cues for reminders?

I’m new to WOW, and I’m trying to be the best tank paladin I can be. I’ve been getting better at trying to fire all my different abilities, but I’m still reliant on visual cues from the command buttons to let me know when I can recast some of them. Are people actually memorizing mindless key stroke patterns (like playing a piano) and firing away to cycle through all the different commands successfully before repeating, or do even the best still need to rely on visual cues? via /r/wow https://ift.tt/3xCKuj7
