Having the same loot rate drops in Classic Season of Mastery is a non-starter for me, especially with the 12-month timeline.


It took me fucking 8 months and 32 BWL runs to get a Neltharion's Tear. It took my warrior 12 months to get an Onslaught Girdle. Loot is one of the most fun parts of Classic Wow but a quicker timeline just tells me there will be way worse loot drama than Classic (and that was bad enough).It's an awful experience to go to raids every week for several months and not get loot, Classic's 'authentic' timeline allowed you to eventually get kitted out in most of what you wanted. 12 month timeline tells me I'm probably never gonna get ANY prestige items.It'll make loot more 'valuable' in terms of recognition in major cities and whatnot but it's just creating a more annoying lottery system than what we had in Classic.Proposal for Season of Mastery: Double item/gear drops off raid bosses. For RAIDS only, 5 man content and other loot drops should be left untouched.Bosses that dropped 2 pieces of items should drop 3-4, and bosses that dropped 3 items could drop 4-6 pieces.Increase the drop CHANCE of weapons and trinkets. Up all of them by 10 - 15 percent.I think with the faster timeline it's a reasonable request. It would just keep things in line with gearing in how Classic goes without the insane toxicity of loot funneling to certain players because of speculated AQ40 / Naxx difficulty (no worldbuffs) with the less loot to go around.Let me know what your thoughts are guys. This needs to be addressed IMO. Otherwise stoked for Season of Mastery. Just refuse to deal with even more insane loot drama.edit: another solution: DOUBLE THE LOCKOUTS! MC/BWL/AQ40/NAXX TWICE A WEEK!
