Classic How is ignore list still capped on 50 after all those years

I recently started a new character after maining one character for 13 years.I played the character about 4 weeks ago. I put everyone on my ignore list who is either offering boosting services or insulting others. My ignore list was already maxed after NOT EVEN 2 weeks.​Because of recommendations, i installed the addon "BadBoy" so some specific messages wont even show up in my chat. Welp, doesnt work. Still getting insulted in many different ways in mythic plus and it is impossible to block all of them.​So, in conclusion... Why on earth do we still only have a maximum amount of 50 players on ignore list and why is it also not on your whole account? That's stupid and annoying as fuck and probably one of the reasons why this game is toxic.
