Classic leveling an alt

So i've heard the best way to level an alt is to do the storyline and reach lvl 59 and then switch to threads of fate. My question is, when you switch to threads at lvl 59, will you still have to complete threads of fate from scratch like you started it at lvl 50? via /r/wow https://ift.tt/3u1PRpf
