Classic VENGEANCE DH PVP: Best Legendaries, Talents, Covenant and Soulbinds Rated BG / PVP Shadowlands 9.0.5

https://ift.tt/3fps7al it going !My name is Royce and I play VDH Rated Battlegrounds in the 2100 brackets. One of the most commonly asked questions from new and rising Vengeance Demon Hunters are What Legendaries, Talents, Covenant or Soulbinds should you be using for for Shadowlands PVP? So today we're going to quickly recap and answer all those questions for you.- You can find the video of this written guide here - https://youtu.be/D49xQzSSnEE- If you want more in-depth guides and want to learn more about VDH PVP I have a video playlist all related to Vengeance Rated BG guides and strategies - https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD1FoY8wIIdcmnpgIJBaxw4g_DqOjIrY-1. Legendaries You Should Be Using:- For Flag carrying I recommend Darkest Hour- For Base sitting you should aim for Sephuz Proclaimation or Darkest Hour- It's optional but in Silvershard Mines and Seething Shore maps you can wear Firey Soul instead of Darkest Hour as you role in those maps are to spin nodes so your fights are generally going to be longer, hence you can take advantage of higher firey brand uptimeDarkest Hour will be your best overall legendary to craft first if you are new to Vengeance Demon Hunter PVP. Darkest Hour and Sephuz's Proclaimation both share the same chest slot which means minimal gear disruption for you when changing legendaries, I recommend crafting them both to Rank Two - 210ilvl then upgrade the one you like more. These two should serve us all expansion assuming blizzard doesn’t surprise us with unlocking wearing multiple legendaries or buffing other legendaries again.Darkest Hour also translates well to be used by Havoc spec in arenas especially against rogue mage and double dps burst comps in 2s and 3s. Abit of a tangent here but Bonus legendary recommendations for Havoc:- Collective Anguish if you want on demand cleave burst- Chaos Theory if you want proc based single target burstI personally use Collective Anguish on Cloak for havoc PVP as well as general dailies PVE content for Vengeance, if you have Mythic Stone Legion Generals on farm you can put the Collective Anguish on Wrist instead of Back, otherwise, it doesn't matter what slot. Cloaks are cheaper to craft and buy off the AH2. PVP Trinket Choices:Your standard trinkets to buy first will be your Medallion trinket for on demand CC break as well as a Battlemaster's Emblem trinket for extra on demand 10 to 14k health boost when in a bind. You can also then buy Adaptation and Brooch as bonus trinkets when your medallion goes on cooldown. I've posted a quick macro guide for you to Never Lose Base Sitting To Rogues Again, to see why Adaptation and Brooch can be so important as secondary trinkets - https://youtu.be/wPxos_tHz603. Talent Tree:Next up is talent tree very quickly, there is very little change between flag carrying and base sitting as vengeance:- Your flag carrying tree is going to be 1333221 to take advantage of Abyssal Strike for faster Infernal Strike leaps 12seconds compared to base 20second cooldowns.- Your base sitting tree will be 2333221, replacing Abyssal Strikes with Agonizing flames for 9 second immolation auras on a 13second cooldown instead of faster infernal strikes. This helps you spin flags and stop people from capping your flag even whilst you are being CC'd , very handy. Doulbe Fracture, Spirit Bomb heals a lot more than Soul Cleave especially when used in conjunction with Shattered Restoration conduit but we'll get into conduits shortlyNOTE: There is a minor change if you take Firey soul legendary for Silvershard Mines or Seething Shore, you will need to swap out Spirit Bomb for Charred Flesh which gives longer Firey Brand debuff on enemies or you can take Infernal Armor instead as well for extra defense against strong melee teams. The tree for Firey Soul is 23232214. PVP Talents:Your PVP Talents of choice is very easy. Your default choices should be:- Illidan's Grasp for 6 seconds of stun followed up by a 1-2 second mini stun when you throw the target 40 yards, as well as- Reverse Magic to remove important magic spells off yourself and your team like Rootbeams, Unstable Afflications, Mind Games, Vampiric Touch, Hammer of Justice, Polymorph, Hex and more- Your 3rd choice is depending on Flag Carrying OR Base sitting:a. If Flag carrying I personally prefer Demonic Trample, you should only use it when NOT holding the flag as it helps you run at around 275+ movespeed, which is faster than the standard 200% mounted speed. This helps you escape rogues or teams slowing you to the flag.b. If you're base sitting, take Cleansed by Flame to remove pesky dots , Mind Games and agical snares off yourself whilst still being able to save reverse magic for emergency use for your team instead.NOTE: After some testing within the Fel Hammer PVP Demon Hunter Discord Channel, Jagged Spikes actually only returns WHITE damage attacks off physical damage hence I have removed it from my preferred PVP Talents since the other choices are significantly stronger5. Covenants & Soulbind Choices:Finally we're up to Covenants and Soulbinds. My recommended Covenant in terms of Best to Worst as a Vengeance Demon Hunter is Nightfae, Kyrian, and then Venthyr & Necrolord equal last. You can still easily achieve 1600 rating as any covenant but if you want that push to 18 or 2100+ easier I recommend considering changing to NightfaeAs Vengeance Demon Hunters the most important conduits we're looking for are the triple endurance and a finesse slot. In order of importance we're after Vicious Ink, Shattered Restoration and then Fel Defender for Endurance. For Finesse we're after Felfire Haste priority as Flag Carrier and then Ravenous Consumption is a nice bonus for Base sitting. We'll go through all covenants so noone misses out:Nightfae:- Flag Carrying Soulbind we get to go Niya hands down best flag carrier soulbind in the game, we get access to faster cooldown soulshapes, faster movespeed when our team kills someone out of combat as well as access to triple endurance and a finesse slot- Nightfae Base Sitting Soulbind we go with Dreamweaver and still have access to triple endurance slots as well as extra Hunt damage, more versatility for yourself and your team as well as a bonus boost to haste to reduce our demonic spikes cooldown for more demonic spikes uptimeKyrians:- Kyrians have an easy Soulbind choice with Forgelite Prime Mikanikos who offers 3 endurance slots as well as finesse slot again when flag carrying, you have potion knockbacks, 15% reduced damage when you take fall damage as well as a haste boost when attacking multiple enemies.- When base sitting you can forgo the Fel Defender cooldown reduction endurance slot and go for an amazing 30% crowd control reduction. Perfect for getting out of sap, blinds and cyclones faster when your base is under attackVenthyr:- Venthyr friends have an easy choice for Soulbind with General Draven taking advantage of double endurance conduit, a potency and a finesse for flag carrying. You take 10% less damage when below 40% health which is kinda amazing, movespeed buff whenever your allies pop their sprint or dash effects as well as extra 4% primary stat when at full health.- When base sitting you want to take Hold Your Ground instead for a solid stamina and healing boost and take growing inferno which will pair nicely with your base sitting talent, Agonizing Flames.Necrolord:- Lastly Necrolords also have an easy choice for Soulbind with Eminee and with little changes for Flag Carrying and Base sitting however you only get access to double endurance conduits so we will forgo our Fel Defender conduit as Vicious Ink and Shattered restoration are significantly stronger. As Flag Carriers you get access to primary stat boosts for yourself and your team, Running and Fleshcrafting at the same time, Shielded fall damage - perfect when jumping off roofs or graveyards, felfire haste AND an AOE Fear when you fall under 20% health, this combined with darkest hour helps give you some breathing room to get topped up again.- For Base sitting I recommend going middle instead and taking the triple endurance so you have access to up to 15% more haste when spinning your base's flag which once again means faster demonic spikes cooldowns for more demonic spikes uptime! And that's it!
