Blizz is all about the bottom line. Warning: Dark

Over the past few weeks I've seen people arguing about the various direction blizzard is going with Classic TBC in regards to the paid boost, potential store mount, etc.This may not be news to most of you: Activison-Blizz only cares about the bottom line - How much money they can make off of this game. This is no the idealistic company of 20 years ago, filled with fellow gamers who play and enjoy the game. The game was developed years ago. The people working on the game now are hired guns - many of them have no intention of playing this game. Blizzard is now a behemoth of a corporation that has singular focused goals that revolve around maximizing shareholder revenue, quarter after quarter.The type of calculations Blizzard is making are "how shameless can we be to maximize profits off of classic TBC." Unfortunately, they know they can be shameless as fuck because you and I are going to play the game anyway. They will push the store and micro transactions as far as they can if it doesn't lose them subs.Arguing over the paid boosts is like beating a dead horse at this point. It's going to make Blizzard a boatload of money so it is staying.Why do we still have so many bots in this game after a decade? Why are people not banned for buying gold? Because Blizzard is not in the business of reducing it's sub numbers.Out of touch drums changes? The people making these changes are disconnected from what the players want.My grim predication: The voidstalker or w/e the fuck it's called cosmetic mount? It's the tip of the iceberg. They're going to monetize this game as much as they can.I'm still going to play and enjoy the fuck out of this game. But I'm not longer engaging in naive arguments about what Blizzard should or shouldn't do, what they will or won't do. They are going to continue to suck every penny out of this player base they can. I'm personally not going to open my wallets to these extra services, but many will. At first I was fine with the boost, and even planned on using one, but now I see the harm it will do to the game overall. There is no turning back the floodgates now.
