Classic Can't use Chromie Time at level 48

Is this intended? I was under the impression that you lost access to Chromie at level 50. I finished what I wanted with a specific expansion and wanted to swap to another one at level 48, and yes, it allowed me to go to "current time" but it wouldn't let me swap. Any help would be appreciated!Editing this in case someone else has the same issue and doesn't wanna read the comments: abandon the Shadowlands mission and then talk to Chromie and it should work!
